In June 2019, the School of Drama took part for the 5th time in the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space with the double performance Alice – to DA or not to DA, and with a Costume Design Exhibition.
The first part of the performance titled Alice – or a self-evolving story is a visual performance by students of Scenography inspired by Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. The performance was presented on June 10, 2019 as part of the P.Q. Studio: Festival at Damu Disk Theatre.

The second part of the performance titled To Da or not to Da is a collaboration between the undergraduate courses of Drama and Performance Analysis and Acting-Theatre Directing) and the postgraduate course on Scenography-Costume Design (2016-2018), on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the historical avant-garde movement of Dada. With this performance, the School of Drama also participated in the VeniceOpenStage 2017 festival (more here).

The exhibition part of our participation consists of 2D and 3D models of costumes of characters of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

The performance was selected from 130 other proposals and the participation was fully funded by the Ministry of Education.
