  • A music theatre piece based on the narration of Maria Sarantopoulou, the first Greek female journalist, who visited the immigrant camps and working places in the USA between 1913 and 1914. The musical plot of the play interleaves early jazz with civil traditional Greek song, exploring the possibility of a dialog between these different cultures.

There is also a small intervention about the Italian experience of migration.

The texts are in Greek with English surtitles and the songs in Greek and in English.

The texts and the songs are all in the public domain.
