The research focuses on the development of stage technology (both stationary and mobile equipments), along with stage design constructions, from Renaissance to date. Areas of research include:
- Stage machines and mechanisms
- The study and visual representation of the most important of these mechanisms
- Special techniques applied in scenographic constructions
Studies, visual representations and models produced in the course of research are permanently exhibited within the School’s premises (Exadaktilou building, 4th floor).
