He studied Literature in Athens and Theatre Studies in Paris. He was Director of the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece (1976-9). He taught in the School of Literature, AUTH, from 1977-1991. In 1992, he founded the School of Drama.
In 1979, he founded the Piramatiki Skini of Techni Theatre Company. He has published books and articles on theatre (Ibsen in Greece, On Theatre etc). He has translated texts from the contemporary French theatre repertory. He has directed several Greek and European theatre plays.
